2013 trade fair programme for export of green energy technology published

As part of the export initiatives “renewable energies” and “energy efficiency”, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology plans to take part in ten trade fairs abroad in 2013. This is the result of a meeting at the Ministry of Economics with representatives of the two export initiatives, foreign trade institutions and the German Economy's AUMA exhibitions and trade fair committee. Six of the scheduled trade fair participations will focus on renewable energies, the other four will be about energy efficiency. German Companies can partake in these trade fairs at attractive conditions as part of the programme.

The Ministry of Economics organises participation in this programme according to two categories: in the countries that are relatively new to using green energy technologies, “German Days” with special lectures will take place at the shared exhibition booth in addition to the companies' product presentations. In those countries that hosted this trade fair programme before and in which the topics are more accepted, the booth will be mainly comprised of exhibits.

The Ministry of Economics has supported companies with their participation in trade fairs in the green energy sector since 2003, aiming to nurture exports of technologies in the area of renewable energies. The trade fairs to be attended are chosen with support of AUMA. Trade fairs by the export initiatives “renewable energies” and “energy efficiency” can be researched in the AUMA trade fair database at www.auma.de .
