The FKM wants to develop the certification of fair figures into a central quality characteristic of German trade fairs. Exhibitors should place more emphasis on facts when it comes to exhibition planning and evaluation of results and consider the reliability of trade fair data.
The more than 60 German trade fair organizers, who are organized within the FKM – the Society for Voluntary Control of Trade Fair and Exhibition figures, therefore want to offer their customers the benefits of the FKM on a significantly broader scale than before. This includes exhibitor and visitor numbers for around 300 trade fairs and especially differentiated visitor structures, which are determined according to uniform standards and are verified by an auditor. The trade fairs successfully audited by the FKM are now classed as FKM-certified. This will convey even more clearly that the collected FKM-data is transparent and reliable and therefore trustworthy.
