MICE Day at the ITB Berlin gives advice for meeting planners

Event Manager can do anything except be boring. What worked fine yesterday is no longer good enough today. As the demands of clients and guests are constantly rising new ideas are always in demand. These are available to event planners at the MICE Day at the ITB Berlin on 7th March 2012. The keynote will set the mood for an exciting day when Stephan Meyer, the “Grand Master of unreasonableness”, gives a cheerful speech on “How to be unreasonable”.

As part of the ITB Business Travel Days, the all-day event on 7th March 2012 (Hall 7.1a, New York Hall 2) will offer MICE planners a compact training education with precise courses of action, a “guideline for successful events”. It will be settled why clear communication tasks should be formulated before events, how emotional storytelling works and what legal pitfalls can occur. The speakers are renowned experts such as Matthias Kindler, CEO of The Companies, Friederike von der Marwitz, director of the Marwitz Akademie, and Mandy Risch-Kerst, a lawyer specializing in Event Law.

What will the events industry look like in 2030, what will the key issues be, what will the catchwords of the future be and how will the industry evolve in the long term - these are the central questions of are the central content of the MEXCON Meeting Experts Conference which will be held from 18th to 20th June 2012. During the ITB MICE DAY, the organizers of the MEXCON, Matthias Schultze (GCB) and Joachim König (EVVC), will already give an interesting outlook on the trends of the event industry.
