The EVVC represents about 700 event centres of all kinds and sizes in Germany and Europe.
Event organisers and supply companies supplement the association’s broad range, thus making the EVVC the most versatile communications network within the sector.

Staff changes at SevenCenters: Andrea Bisping takes over the chair for the 10-year anniversary in 2012

Andrea Bisping, head of the ICM - Internationales Congress Center München, has taken over the chair of the marketing co-operation SevenCenters of Germany for one year in January 2012. The marketing alliance of the seven largest German convention centres with a direct connection to trade fair grounds celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. As chairman and spokesperson, Bisping will be responsible for implementing all marketing objectives envisaged by the members.

Andrea Bisping: “The SevenCenters have continued to be a success story as important representatives of the German business conference industry at international level for 10 years. It is my personal goal to meet the marketing activities of this cooperation in the Jubilee year so that congresses and major events will affect the perception of the meetings destination Germany within Europe and primarily around the world in a positive manner”.

The chairmanship has rotated annually among the attached congress centres since the founding of SevenCenters in 2002. The members are as follows:
- ICC Berlin - Internationales Congress Center Berlin
- DüsseldorfCongress
- Congress Frankfurt
- CCH - Congress Center Hamburg
- Congress-Centrum Koelnmesse – Köln-Kongress
- ICM - Internationales Congress Center München
- ICS International Congresscenter Stuttgart.

Last year, Edgar Hirt, CCH - Congress Center Hamburg, was chairman and also held the office of Speaker of SevenCenters.
