With 75 booked concerts and shows, 40 handball and basketball league matches as well as major sporting events such as the ice-hockey European Championships, the All Star Game and the tenth Middle German schoolchildren’s meeting within the three-week athletics window the ZSL Betreibergesellschaft mbH can look forward to a successful 2012. “Right now, we have already surpassed the level of bookings that we had in 2011”, said ZSL's managing director Winfried Lonzen. “Ten percent of the events are already completely sold out, such as the All Star Game, Andrea Berg, Udo Lindenberg, Die Ärzte and Paul Panzer”.

“Last year we achieved the planned result”, said Winfried Lonzen. “We can look back on great events. A number of high-class and new events with a long-term perspective took place in the arena”. The spectator numbers in the RED BULL ARENA increased by 40 percent.

After successfully opening the luxuriously furnished Backstage Club last autumn, the ZSL plans to further invest in improving the service in 2012. “The next big project is the expansion of our ticket shop”, says the ZSL managing director. “That way, we will be able to help our guests even faster and better”.
