The third construction phase of a comprehensive redevelopment plan, that includes fire protection, maintenance and repairs measures totalling 8.2 million Euros and implemented during 2008-2010, is currently under way.
 
This summer, construction measures totalling 1 million Euros are being implemented. 750,000 Euros of this sum are being invested in technical stage equipment. This includes, among other things, the renewal of the controls of the lower and upper hydraulics in the large and small Hall (podiums for the movement of the rows of seats in the lower stages and stage platforms for event purposes, orchestra pit), the equipment of lifting platforms with safety edges for automatic shutdown in case of danger, and the maintenance of the hydraulic systems of the stage podium in the Large and small hall. This includes the changing of 2400l of hydraulic oil. Around 120,000 Euros will be invested in the renovation of the stage floor in the two halls. The existing worn floors are being replaced with composite panels with a layer made of Oregon pinewood and will give the floor a new shine at the beginning of the season. Furthermore, the house will receive new electrical wiring, the work lighting in the lower stage will be replaced and the stairs in the backstage area will be desmoked, fitted with new lighting and given a fresh coat of paint.
