Safety related aspects of events were recently the focus of a three day event in Congress Park Hanau (CPH). The EVVC partner German Event Academy had put together a training offer for the CPH, which qualified the participants as “expert supervisors at event venues” or “supervising person at event venues”.
The aim of the seminar was to further sensitize the in–house technicians and event managers at the Congress Park Hanau in safety-related matters. Against this background, the regularly scheduled training for employees was replenished and upgraded at the beginning of this year by an external training event of the German Academy.
“It was an outstanding success, due to the tailor-made seminar which focused specifically on the processes at the CPH”, said David Rautenberg, who is the responsible person for event technology and also in charge of safety and security during events at the CPH. “The German Event Academy once again proved to be the perfect partner at the CPH for continuing training”, says Rautenberg. He pointed out that the speakers treated all topics of the seminar in a very practical manner, using different exercises and taking into consideration the in-house conditions.
In addition, participants were able to develop important content during group work. Thus, important topics such as risk assessment, safety goal definitions and the taking of appropriate measures and their documentation developed using practical exercises.
