Congress Park Hanau increases turnover

Despite of the economic crisis and the consequent cost cuts of many companies the Congress Park Hanau (CPH) recorded a sales growth of more than 9 percent in 2009. “Some of the promoters have newly discovered or rediscovered our house, especially in these times of crisis,” says Nicole Rautenberg, director of management of the CPH.

The stylish conference and event centre in the Hanau Castle gardens is ideal for one-day events and convinces customers not only because of its outstanding service but also by offering the best value for money. In 2009, a total of 403 events with around 75,500 visitors took place in the CPH. Outstanding events were the newly established concert series “Congress Park Symphony” as an own event as well as the national art exhibition “Hessiale 2009”. In addition, various regional trade fairs have established themselves in the CPH, such as the environmental fair, which again attracted nearly 5,000 attendees in 2009. “In the seventh year of its existence the CPH has developed, next to its function as a theatre and concert hall, into a meeting and convention centre that is known throughout the region,” says Sven Arends, Director of property and event management.
