Marketing campaign: weimar GmbH starts cooperation with Deutsche Bahn
Start of a cooperation between the Deutsche Bahn and the weimar GmbH: From 1st September all potential visitors of Weimar will receive a 10 Euro rail voucher when purchasing a Weimar card online. The Deutsche Bahn has selected Weimar as one of four model cities for the three month cooperation. In Weimar, the project is limited until 30th November 2010 for the time being. With these new partnerships the Deutsche Bahn wants to persuade tourists and convention participants to switch to railway connections.
Beneficiaries are the visitors: They not only travel to Weimar conveniently and cheaply by train but can also make do without a car during their stay as the free use of public transport is part of the benefits with the weimar card. There are also free tickets or discounts on museum visits, city tours and cultural events.
Taking part is very simple: If you order a Weimar card from the online-shop between 1st September and 30th November you will receive a voucher with a code with which you can then purchase a train ticket at www.bahn.de that gives you a ten Euro discount on your train ticket to Weimar.
