Many speak of protecting the environment, the FILharmonie takes action. The Filderstädter Kultur- und Kongresszentrum was recently honoured with the highly regarded EVVC Green Globe certification.

The FILharmonie in Bern and the sculpting Filderhalle in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, are to date the only event halls in the Stuttgart area, who received a certification for its environmental activities.

Environmental awareness is and always has been a top priority at Thomas Löffler’s venue. So no one was surprised that the FILharmonie-CEO, together with his head of events Sven Pflug and his assistant Ursula Kauffmann, arrived at the award ceremony in Leinfelden riding a bicycle.

The FILharmonie underwent an assessment of 248 certification criteria in the area of sustainability (economic, environmental and social responsibility) and passed with flying colours.
At the certification ceremony, head-mayor Gabriele Dönig-Poppensieker was also ecstatic about the FILharmonie’s active commitment to the environment: “We are very proud of our venue, which takes the protection of the environment very seriously and practices this commitment in an exemplary manner.”
