In October, City Council Markus Frank gave the first four Frankfurt Congress ambassadors their letters of appointment. The initiative “Frankfurt Congress Ambassadors” was launched by the IHK Frankfurt am Main, the Tourismus + Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main (TCF), Congress Frankfurt / Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH as well as Frankfurt’s hotel industry.

The objectives of the initiative are to strengthen the position of Frankfurt as a convention and conference destination and the placement of events in Frankfurt am Main. The following persons were appointed as Congress Frankfurt Ambassadors for a two-year term: Claus Fischer, managing director of Voss & Fischer GmbH as well as board member of the ADC, Dr. Stephan Vogel, managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Frankfurt and also board member of the ADC, Prof. Dr. med. Manfred Kaufmann, Director of the Gynecology and Obstetrics clinic at the Hospital of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Prof. Dr. Ulf Müller-Ladner, director of the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the Kerckhoff-Klinik in Bad Nauheim. The appointed ambassadors are all very committed to bring one or more conferences to the city.
