With a proper topping-out-ceremony the completion of the shell construction of the “Freiheitshalle” in Hof has been celebrated on 15th of April 2011.
The new „Freiheitshalle“ offers modern, versatile rooms for a variety of events. The most modern equipment and technique, a well reasoned room-plan and ideal framework conditions create optimal conditions for successful events. The heart is the “große Haus” which is equipped with a “telescopic” stand. On 2300 sqm it offers plenty of space for large events with up to 6100 guests. The spacious foyers are ideal for exhibitions, product-presentations or receptions. The “Festsaal” – with 800 sqm – is the perfect place for mid-sized, seated events. Classical concerts, festivities or dancefloor events get the fitting, ceremonial framework and feel here. It is also the home of the Hof Symphonic Orchestra. Furthermore a new meeting-area with 3 conference rooms for up to 300 persons is going to be built. A “Sky-Lobby” with lounge-area enables individual events in an exclusive setting and by those means completes the versatile profile of the hall.
The completion of the new „Freiheitshalle“ is planned for Mai 2012. Following that is a test and trial run, including several individual events.
The official opening will take place on the start of the season 2012/2013 in fall 2012.
