Due to strong market and customer orientation the ICM Internationales Congress Center München could once again assert itself on the international congress and conference market, boasting 120,000 visitors and 110 events in 2010. In particular, long-term planned international conferences provided for a constant capacity utilisation in the ICM in 2010.
From February to October 2010 alone, three well-known European medical congresses were held in the ICM, which brought a total of some 16,000 doctors to Munich. For conference organizers such as the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) or the International Society of Nephrology the international nature and accessibility of the ICM and the flexible space on offer were the main reason for the choice of location.
With 120 events, some 8,500 exhibitors and a total of 335,000 visitors as well as a rented area of 395,000 square meters in 2010 the M,O,C, events centre was able to impressively tie in with the previous successes.
