Just in time for the Federal Garden Show 2011 in Koblenz, not only the city presents itself with a fresh new look; the meeting location Koblenz is being reorganized and will market itself under the name Koblenz-Kongress. In addition, the capacities of the two central locations Rhein-Mosel-Halle and Kurfürstliches Schloss are being upgraded and expanded significantly.
The Rhine-Mosel-Halle will remain the central venue in Koblenz, which will however be given a new contemporary look and state of the art technological update after major restoration work. After the reconstruction and expansion 16 functional rooms with an area of 35 m² to 900 m² and an exhibition area of 1,600 square meters will be available. A flexible space concept will in future allow for meetings of any size with a seating capability of 10-1400 people.
To supplement the “new” Rhein-Mosel-Halle middle part of the Electoral Palace, which was previously inaccessible to the public, will offer exclusive rooms in a historic setting of 100-370 square metres.
