The exhibition companies from Munich and Nuremberg are creating a joint sales team at the NürnbergMesse Brasil, a subsidiary founded in 2009 in São Paulo, Brazil.
An agreement on this was reached and signed by the two exhibition companies on 27th January 2011 in Sao Paulo, while at the same time conferring the Messe München’s abroad agency in Brazil to the NürnbergMesse Brazil. With the joint sales and marketing team the Messe München and the NürnbergMesse go beyond the classic model of an abroad agency in order to use synergy effects for their exhibition programs. The two companies hope to achieve a strong position for their trade fair customers within the industry in Brazil.
This is already the second collaboration between the two exhibition companies in a short time. In November 2010 a cooperation between the Munich drinktec, the international trade fair for beverage and liquid food technology and the Nuremberg Brau Beviale, the European trade fair for beverage raw materials, technologies, logistics and marketing, in the area of PET was agreed.
