NürnbergMesse is offering varied apprenticeships

The start of the apprenticeship year 2011 has begun well at NürnbergMesse. Since the beginning of September 13 young people are learning about the trade fair business in Nuremberg, either as apprentices or as students. The NürnbergMesse offers apprenticeships in the trades of Veranstaltungskauffrau/-mann (event businessman) and Fachkraft für Veranstaltungstechnik (professional of event technology). It also awards four places in the dual degree program exhibition, conference and event management. The bachelor program takes place Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Ravensburg and is supplemented by regular practice periods at the NürnbergMesse. In addition, the trade fair company will offer an apprenticeship as an Elektroniker für Gebäude- und Infrastruktursysteme (electrical technician for building and infrastructure systems) and as Fachkraft für Schutz und Sicherheit (expert for protection and safety) from 2012.

The NürnbergMesse Group ranks among the top 7 of the German trade fair companies and can look forward to continued growth. Today around 450 people - including an average of twelve percent of trainees – work for the NürnbergMesse. From an international point of view, the company has for many years been one of the 20 largest companies in its industry. The Frankish company likes to train its new blood itself. The takeover rate is nearly 100 percent.

Every year, the NürnbergMesse holds an annual apprentice information day for interested parties, in which 100-200 young people regularly participate, some accompanied by their parents. In 2011, this Information Day will take place on Wednesday 5th October.
