Brähler will launch a new DIGIMIC mainframe, the DCen mini, to kick off the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam in February 2012. It will be part of the portfolio of small discussion systems, e.g. for the boardroom, council halls, discussions rounds with recording capabilities. Normally, it will be possible to connect 25 microphone consoles, however, the system can also be expanded using an expansion unit (DExt).

The system can be used without prior configuration and is thus operational for use without a PC. Due to a passive cooling system noiseless operation is guaranteed. The three main modes (AUT3, Float, VOX) are integrated, though the voice-activation option of the microphones should be particularly emphasized. In the simplest case, the chairman is able to control the complete system via his or her microphone unit. He also has the possibility to briefly interrupt the discussion via a mute button. In addition, the system can be operated remotely via LAN or directly controlled using a PC or for example via a wireless tablet PC.

With this and the new DIGIVOTE basic interactive voting software PowerPoint ™ add-in it is also possible to conduct interactive opinion polls directly from your PowerPoint ™ presentation. DIGIVOTE wireless units (VD30) can also be integrated. This advantage will be appreciated by all users of the previous DIGIVOTE as it is now possible to integrate a small, simple discussion system.
