The digital recording of all information and results guarantees the reduction of time, resources and not least costs,” adds Hesse.

At the IMEX the network association mygreenmeeting.de was presented to the public for the first time. Mygreenmeeting is a competence network composed of eight partners with the aim of enabling climate-friendly events. Gahrens + Battermann are a partner of this network in the area of event technology. “We can already make a significant contribution to climate-friendly events through the use of energy-saving devices in lighting and video, but also through our nationwide branch structure, which ensures short service and transportation routes,” said Jörg Hendrichs. “The issue of Green Meetings is fortunately making quite an impact in the industry and confirms our commitment. The planned cooperation between the GCB and the EVVC together with the support from well-known long-term strategic partners creates synergies that serve the industry and especially the environment,” Hendrichs is convinced.
Through the acquisition of particularly energy-efficient appliances and the new development of resource-friendly solutions Gahrens + Battermann plan to expand their role as an environmentally conscious technology provider.
