The European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) and the Swiss association Expo-Event.Live Communication jointly offer a double membership in order to improve their service to Swiss members. Expo-Event takes over the organisation and activities of the EVVC's Swiss Chapter, caring for the Swiss members.
Under the double membership, event centres remain members of both individual associations, but can take advantage of all services by both institutions at outstanding rates. The event centres have access to all special terms offered by the associations, be it regarding jurisdiction, further education or the services of several partners. Additionally, they benefit from various marketing activities, covering both the Swiss and German markets, and they regularly receive key figures for the industry to make their work easier. Both associations would like to further enhance and enable contact among the event centres, providing them with a platform to network and share experiences that does not yet exist in Switzerland. Lobbying will be another key area, with the overarching goal of raising awareness for concerns of the event industry especially among tourism, political and client associations.
