Following the appropriate recognition of the Hannover Congress Centrum as a “cultural monument of national importance”, the façade redevelopment of the historic civic centre will begin to take shape in the summer of 2013.

In 2013, the Messe Frankfurt will organize 20 German joint trade fair booths at their 70 events abroad on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). More than 400 companies will participate. The pavilions sponsored by the federal govern-ment are intended for small and medium-sized export-oriented companies who want to build their international network.

This is confirmed by the 297 events which led to the 75% occupancy rate in the CPH in the last year. It was the third year in a row in which turnover from congresses, conferences and cultural events exceeded one million Euros.

The Eurogress Aachen considers the support of Pede-lecs with renewable energies a very good fit for the company’s sustainability concept. That is why it took part in the free-of-charge Pedelec test weeks for com-panies which were offered by the city of Aachen in cooperation with the STAWAG, the Wabe e.V. and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Aachen. For one week, employees were able to test Pedelecs for free on their way to work, for business trips and during their free time.

The MAINZ CONGRESS, a branch of the mainzplus CITYMARKETING, is offering something new for congress and event customers for the first time: Under the slogan “100% Mainz for half the price” it will be possible to book the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz at a discount rate in the event period from 8th July to 16th August 2013. The package “all you can meet” comprises rent, equipment and catering at a rate which is reduced by 50% and at the same time hotel rooms will be offered at special summer rates. This offer is subject to availability and can be booked by any event agencies, associations, companies and concert promoters.

The darmstadtium can once again report excellent results last year, following on from the previous good performance: Once again, they were able to report the highest turnover with the lowest consumption compared to previous years.
 
More than 300 events and 150,000 registered guests: 2012 was another successful year for the Science and Congress Centre Darmstadt.

From spring of 2014 on, the conference center at Ener-giepark (energy park) Hirschaid will offer conference rooms totalling 800 sq. m for 40, 80 and 150 people on two levels. For larger events, the hall element-e is an attractive and flexible space of 1,600 sq. m for a “green event”.

In future, the NürnbergMesse India Pvt. Ltd. will strengthen ties between Nuremberg and New Delhi. The CEOs of the NürnbergMesse Group, Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann defined their stated goal: “The already existing portfolio of Indian trade events and realization contracts is to be expanded, while at the same time paving the way for both exhibitors and visitors from and to India, Europe, America and Asia”.

Almost exactly 16 months after the project “New, larger EWE Arena" began, the responsible persons of the Oldenburg Weser-Ems Hallen can now announce its completion. On 20th April, the modern multi-purpose hall was inaugurated officially and on-time with the Bundesliga match of the EWE Baskets Oldenburg against the Telekom Baskets Bonn. Additionally, the previously forecasted expenditure was not exceeded.

During the past year, a total of 45 own events, 22 guest trade fairs and numerous congresses and corporate events of various kinds took place at the Stuttgart Messe and ICS International Congresscenter Stuttgart. These ranged from product presentations to company general meetings and anniversaries and are an important factor for the economic success of the site.
